How to Connect with ScreenConnect on Windows
Follow these steps when a Mesa Geeks technician asks you to start a remote support session on your Windows PC.
Open your web browser and navigate to angeloit.screenconnect.com.
Your technician will provide a session code. Type it in and click "Join."
A small file will download. Click it to run. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click "More info" then "Run anyway."
The ScreenConnect window will open and your technician can now see your screen and help resolve your issue.
How to Connect with ScreenConnect on macOS
Mac requires extra permission steps before a technician can see and control your screen. Follow each step carefully — the images below show you exactly what to look for.
Open the Remote Support Page
Open Safari or Chrome and go to angeloit.screenconnect.com
Your technician will give you a session code over the phone. Type it in and click "Join."
Download and Open the Installer
A .pkg file will download to your Downloads folder.
Open Finder → Downloads. Then Ctrl+Click (or right-click) on the file and choose "Open" from the menu.
Approve the Security Prompt
"ScreenConnect.ClientSetup.pkg" cannot be verified. Are you sure you want to open it?
macOS will warn that it cannot verify the developer. This is normal — ScreenConnect creates a unique installer for each session.
Click "Open" to proceed. Then follow the installer wizard and enter your Mac admin password when asked.
Grant Screen Recording Permission
A large "Review System Access" window will appear after installation. Click "Request Access" next to Screen Recording.
macOS will open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording.
Find "ConnectWise Control" in the list and toggle it ON. Enter your password if prompted.
Click "Quit & Reopen"
This is required for the new permissions to take effect.
After toggling the permission, macOS will ask you to Quit & Reopen the ScreenConnect client.
Click "Quit & Reopen" — the app will restart automatically and the Review System Access window will return.
Grant Accessibility Permission
Back in the Review System Access window, click "Request Access" for the Accessibility section.
System Settings will open to Privacy & Security → Accessibility. Toggle "ConnectWise Control" ON and enter your password.
You may be asked to "Quit & Reopen" again — click it.
Verify Both Permissions Are Granted
You should see green circles with "Granted" next to both Screen Recording and Accessibility.
Your Mesa Geeks technician can now see and control your Mac to resolve your issue.

How to Use Google Remote Desktop
Google Remote Desktop works directly in your browser and is a simple alternative when ScreenConnect isn't an option.
Go to remotedesktop.google.com/support in Chrome or any modern browser.
Under "Get Support," click the download button to install the Chrome Remote Desktop extension if prompted, then click "Generate Code."
A 12-digit code will appear. Give this code to your Mesa Geeks technician over the phone so they can connect.
You'll see a prompt asking you to confirm the share. Click "Share" and the technician will have access to your screen.
